Blood Drive In-Person
"The Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components, all from generous volunteer donors. But supply can’t always meet demand because only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly. Each new donor helps us meet patient needs."
The Gates Public Library is hosting a blood drive! We proudly partner with American Red Cross to host this event. Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. We are very excited about the drive, and we hope you are too. Ages 17 and up.
